1. How do I use my scales?
Make sure to place the scales on a hard, flat and stable surface. If you are going to use a bowl or another recipient, place this on the scales before turning it on. Now switch on the scales by pressing the ON or ON/OFF button and 0 will appear. You can now place your ingredients on the scales
-
2. How do I weigh several ingredients successively?
When you have weighed your first ingredient press TARE. The scales will return to 0. When you add the next ingredient, only this weight will be displayed.
-
3. The weight displayed varies?
The more precise a weighing scales is, the more sensitive it is. You must always place your scales on a hard, flat and stable surface. It is perfectly normal to have slight differences between two measurements - this can be explained simply by placing the ingredients differently on the product.

4. My scales doesn't display anything?
If the product is new, you must connect a battery. Some of our scales are supplied with lithium batteries (one or two depending on the model) which should be inserted into the battery housing underneath the scales. In certain products they will already be inserted and you simply need to pull out the tab protruding from the battery housing. Always make sure that the + sign is visible once you have inserted the batteries. Other models use alkaline batteries which are not supplied. These must be inserted into the battery housing at the back of the scales. See instruction manual for further details.

5. Where do I find lithium batteries?
You can find lithium batteries in most large retailers or in specialist camera shops or pharmacies. Our lithium products use battery type CR2032
-
6. My scales used to work perfectly and now it measures wrong?
Have you checked the battery? Could the scales have fallen or been hit? Has it ever had more than it's maximum capacity on it? Has any water got inside it? These may all be reasons for a defect developing.
-
7. How do I change from grams to pounds/ouces?
There should be a small switch underneath the scales or on the top surface (depending on the model). This can be used to switch from grams (g) to pounds and ounces (lb/oz).
-
8. Lo or Batt is displayed
This means that the battery needs replacement.
