Engaging the Community

A company derives and expends resources from the community and has the responsibility to contribute to the community in reciprocation. Thus, in implementing the Sustainable Development Policy, one of our objectives is to engage the community by following such practices as:

Contributing support and charitable donations to non-government organizations particularly those with interest in the environment, elderly, youth and under-privileged, universities and learning institutions, and related trade associations. It is our policy not to make political contributions to local and overseas political parties.
Developing a community involvement culture among employees - we publicize by setting the Company as an example, the importance of community engagement to the employee including charitable donations and employee volunteerism
Sharing our experience with business colleagues - we dedicate our time and resources in community services and invite business colleagues to participate in such services.
Experience and knowledge sharing with students and the youth - we sponsor and participate in community and educational programs and mentor students as externs for the purpose of captivating the interest of the youth in choosing their career in the industry.

CORPORATE CHALLENGE 2009 BY OUTWARD BOUND HONG KONG

Mr Sunny Chai is the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Corporate Challenge 2009. He gave a welcoming speech at the Opening Ceremony of the activity. The staff of Fook Tin Technologies Ltd. formed a men's team and continued to take the challenge. As a result, our company got the Men's Division 2nd runner-up of Modern Terminals Cups. All teammates who took part in all 8 challenging games showed the cooperations, the courage and the adventure minds. Meanwhile , we collected the sponsorship from our companies' friends which help lots of clients of Hong Kong Outward Bound.
