In August 2004, Fook Tin was qualified OHSAS 18001 which indicates the commitment of the Company in providing a health and safety working environment for the employees.

OHSAS 18001 is developed in response to customer demand for a recognizable occupational health and safety management system standard against which their management system may be assessed and certified. OHSAS 18001 improves internal and external communication of the organization occupational health and safety commitment; and enhances employee awareness and individual commitment to occupational health and safety.

The improvement / enhancement is attributed to employee education and awareness of safety issues and understanding. It features include:
