2006 Hong Kong Awards for Industry: Environmental Performance Grand Award

2006 is a remarkable and commemoratory year to Fook Tin. We are delighted to announce that Fook Tin Technologies Ltd. is awarded the ''2006 Hong Kong Awards for Industry: Environmental Performance Grand Award''. The 2006 Environmental Performance Grand Award is particular encouraging to us as a twice winner of this Award after 2003.

The outstanding performance in environmental management is being recognized. Its programs include the implementation of IECQ QC 080000 Hazardous Substance Process Management system, ecoproduct design management system, green supply chain management, environmental technology and corporate governance and the community engagement. Fook Tin realizes that improvement to the environment requires more than one company's effort. Through the recent years, Fook Tin has shared its experience with the industry by servicing on various environmental committees and boards, and presenting at numerous local and international seminars, conferences and media events.

We are delighted to announce that Fook Tin Technologies Ltd. is awarded the 2006 Hong Kong Awards for Industry: Consumer Product Design Award. This is the 4th year to win the Award in this category followed the year of 1998, 2000 and 2005.

The award-winning product is DUO, marketed under ''Terraillon'' brand name, had gained many international design awards such as the IF Award, Red Dot Award of Germany and the Good Design Award of US. DUO is a revolutionary kitchen scale equipped with elegant design and multi-function. DUO is designed in round lines, wall-mount and slim size with circular platform to accommodate most cooking utensils. The magnetic timer can be snapped to the scale or everywhere convenient to the users. The surface of the scale is designed in pure and simple for easy cleaning.
